Financial English

The 1-to-1 classes will focus on your individual needs and will develop your English vocabulary and communication skills in a financial context, taking into account your specific line of work. Financial English courses are suitable for accountants, auditors, bank employees or other professionals working in the finance sector.

You will be emailed a ‘Needs Analysis’ form to complete before the start of your course.  During your first 1-to-1 lesson you and your teacher will put together a study plan for your course.  We encourage you to be active in the preparation and content of your course.

Medical English

he 1-to-1 Medical English lessons will focus on your individual needs, taking into account your specific line of work. Medical English courses are suitable for doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, students of medicine and other professionals working in the medical sector. This course is also suitable for clients studying for the OET exam (Occupational English Test).

What to expect:

  • improve general and social English language skills and your pronunciation
  • enhance your communication skills for dealing with English-speaking patients and colleagues
  • raise awareness of intercultural issues and ‘international English’
  • develop specific vocabulary and expressions for English used in the medical sector
  • practise giving presentations in English or taking a patient history, if necessary
  • work on writing medical reports, emails or case studies
  • work on your specific requests

English For Tourism Professionals

The English for Tourism Services course combines working in a small group in the mornings to develop general English speaking and listening communication skills with one-to-one classes in the afternoons. The one-to-one classes focus on individual needs and will develop your vocabulary and language skills related to the area of tourism you work in.

We will send you a needs analysis form before your arrival and ask you to give us specific details about your sector and your precise English requirements. Popular requests include hotel services language, reception or information desk services; giving city and country tourism information, explaining possible day trips or concerts and activities, booking accommodation, reserving travel tickets; explaining restaurant and eating options; guided tours and itinerary planning.

This course is suitable for employees working in a variety of tourism industry areas such as hotels and accommodation facilities, information centres, tourist attractions and public transport services. In addition, staff working as guides, rangers, tour managers, travel consultants, resort workers, hospitality and catering staff and other tourist related industry services will find this course useful.

  • learn specific tourism and topic based vocabulary for your area of work

The one-to-one classes focus on specific, individual needs and will develop your Business English vocabulary and communication skills work situations.  Whatever your job or line of business, we can help you gain confidence to express yourself clearly and precisely in English.
